AWS Lambda MicroVMs Workshop
Welcome to the AWS Lambda MicroVMs Workshop! Lambda MicroVMs are a compute option that pairs the hardware isolation of a virtual machine with the on-demand, pay-for-use model of AWS Lambda. A MicroVM launches from a snapshot in under a second, runs your code in its own kernel, and costs nothing while it is idle. That combination fits workloads that need strong isolation without a server sitting idle between uses.
This workshop will teach you how to get started with Lambda MicroVMs. We will then look using an event-driven coding agent in a MicroVM. The next module looks ephemeral CI/CD runners on MicroVMs. Finally, we look at multi-tenant SaaS on MicroVMs where each customer gets their own MicroVM
